Bude Cornwall Print & Processing Photography Workshop
28th April - 2nd May, 2019
£1,699.00 / Deposit - £300.00
Cornwall is England's coastal county, a place of ancient trade, Arthurian myths, mining history and, for many of us, fond holiday memories from childhood. At the vanguard of Britain's westerly maritime climate, its rugged northern shoreline distills the wildness of western Europe's Celtic fringe. The geology is both varied and amazing, offering the landscape photographer enough challenges for many lifetimes.
The April/May 2019 Leading Lights print workshop is based in Bude, an excellent centre from which to explore Cornwall’s north coast (and also, western north Devon’s), and includes specific training in print workflow and production, as well as our usual fieldwork sessions. North of Bude the coast faces due west, making beaches such as Sandy Mouth a classic sunset destination. Welcombe Mouth and Hartland Quay are other great locations further north, while Widemouth Bay and Milook Haven are geological wonders just west of Bude. Depending on the weather and tide conditions we may also do a day excursion further west with either Strangles at Crackington Haven, or the fabled Rumps peninsula north of Polzeath as our goals.
